FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Question: Can we book individual sectors, or should we book all the sectors?
Answer: You may book individual sectors.
Question: Will there be other passengers on board?
Answer: This flight is a shared flight so there will most probably be other passengers on the flight. If your clients want to book a sector privately, FlyNamibia Safari will offer all the seats to you, and you would pay for 12 seats if no other passengers booked already. Private Charters are also available.
Question: Do you provide road transport at all the destinations?
Answer: The road transport needs to be booked by the agent. If the lodge or hotel doesn’t offer transfers, the agent needs to book it directly with a thirdparty supplier.
Question: Can I manage the bookings myself on the FlyNamibia Safari reservations system and what is the procedure?
Answer: Contact safari@flynamibia.com.na. The FlyNamibia Safari team will organise a training session for your whole office and give individual sign in codes for your team. You can make bookings, and once ready for payment, you can send FlyNamibia Safari the proof of payment and the team will ticket the booking.
Question: Can we book these flights within one month of flight dates?
Answer: FlyNamibia Safari closes the flights on the system 1 month in advance, and then any booking request needs to be sent via email, so that the team can see if its possible to accommodate it. Therefore only quote your client within one month, if FlyNamibia Safari has availability.
Question: What details do you need upon confirmation?
Answer: FlyNamibia Safari needs the following details:
-
International flights details
-
Road transport details at the various destinations
-
Accommodation details at the various destinations.
Question: Will you send Estimated Time of Arrival directly to the lodges and transport companies?
Answer: Yes, FlyNamibia Safari do this the day prior to the flight. If there are any changes FlyNamibia Safari will let the suppliers know as soon as they hear of the changes, and they will update the agent.
