The seasonal FlyNamibia Safari schedule will resume on 1 May 2025 and run until 30 November 2025. Our daily shuttle flight operates in a clockwise circuit seven days a week. The exact departure and arrival times are determined the day before the flight and will be communicated directly to lodges, tour operators, and transfer companies. A minimum of two passengers is required per sector. The departure time from Windhoek allows connections for passengers arriving on Discover Airlines from Frankfurt in the morning, Airlink from Johannesburg and Cape Town at midday, FlyNamibia from Maun and Victoria Falls, and Ethiopian Airlines from Addis Ababa at midday. The departure time will be based on the latest arrival into Windhoek. If all passengers arrive early in Windhoek or the day before, an earlier departure time may be possible and will be communicated the day before. The departure time from Sossusvlei is between 08:30 and 11:00, meaning arrival in Swakopmund and Twyfelfontein will be in time for lunch, and arrival at Etosha will be between 12:30 and 15:30. The arrival time in Windhoek will be between 16:00 and 17:00, or earlier if necessary to ensure connections with various airlines. It’s important to note that no activities should be booked on the day of departure to the next destination until the departure time is confirmed the day before. All destinations remain available on a private charter basis.

The flight times indicated on the ticket are estimated departure times; however, these times are not guaranteed and will be communicated to clients through their agent or lodges the day before departure. FAQs

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question: Can we book individual sectors, or should we book all the sectors?

Answer: You may book individual sectors.

Question: Will there be other passengers on board?

Answer: This flight is a shared flight so there will most probably be other passengers on the flight. If your clients want to book a sector privately, we will offer all the seats to you, and you would pay for 12 seats if no other passengers booked already. Private Charters are also available.

Question: Do you provide road transport at all the destinations?

Answer: The road transport needs to be booked by the agent. If the lodge or hotel doesn’t offer transfers, the agent needs to book it directly with a third- party supplier.

Question: We would like to sign up on your online portal, what is the procedure?

Answer: Contact safari@flynamibia.com.na. Our team will organise a training session for your whole office and give individual sign in codes for your team. You can make bookings, populate it with all accommodation and transport details, and once ready for payment, you can send us the proof of payment and our team will ticket the booking.

Question: Can we book these flights within one month of flight dates?

Answer: We close the flights on the system 1 month in advance, and then any booking request needs to be sent via email, so that our team can see if its possible to accommodate it. Therefore only quote your client within one month, if we have availability.

Question: What details do you need upon confirmation?

Answer: International flights details, road transport details at the various destinations, accommodation details at the various destinations.

Question: Will you send ETA’s directly to the lodges and transport companies?

Answer: Yes, we do this the day prior to the flight. If there are any changes we will let the suppliers know as soon as we hear of the changes, and we will update the agent.
